About us

Delivering transport solutions for clients across the UK through sustainable project design and delivery.

Who we are

With over 11 years trading, Ethos have offices across the UK supporting clients achieve their aims and objectives.  Our ethos has been a key contributing factor in the company becoming an award-winning transport and multi-disciplinary design consultancy that have worked across the UK and overseas.

In 2012 managing director, Adam, had a vision to create a company that would provide the highest level of service to clients regardless of the project.

“In 2013 I launched a company called 2020 Consultancy. Initially the service offering was limited to traffic engineering and road safety. But as the company grew, so did our service offering. Fast forward a decade, and we are now celebrating trading for over 11 years. We have unquestionably exceeded the expectations set back in 2013. Employing renowned industry leaders, working across the UK on projects with a national audience, working with clients overseas, and winning industry awards are only a selection of the outstanding achievements the company has experienced”.

Looking to the future we rebranded in 2023 to Ethos Consultants.

Working on a varied portfolio of projects that span across multiple transport sectors means our working week is fun, challenging and rewarding. We are fortunate to help clients transform communities and provide a more sustainable future for our villages, towns and cities.

Active Travel & Sustainable Transport

“I found Ethos to be very professional. I was happy with the work they carried out to identify a preferred route option and concept design for a new active travel path near Lochgilphead. Their response time to any query and request for information was excellent and I would happily work with them again.”

Sustainable Transport Co-ordinator– Argyll and Bute Council

“Ethos demonstrated that they understood the brief very well and were able to produce comprehensive and very well-informed plans and costs when looking at taking the options forward. The team used innovative community engagement tools which lead to a larger than expected response from the communities involved. I found Ethos* very approachable and easy to deal with. The team produced very professional results and the project was delivered on time, within the agreed budget.”
